Weave Structure Interest Group

Meeting at the Redmond Library Friday, April 24. This interest group meets every 6 to 8 weeks to share ideas on a weave structure (multi-shaft), help each other and show off our weavings. All levels of multi-shaft weavers are welcome.

28th Annual Fiber Market Day

April 25, 2026

Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center in the Coastal Pavilion

Redmond, OR

Sponsored by the High Desert Wool Growers (yep, that would be us!). Our 28th annual event, sharing the love of natural fibers and all of their artistic and practical uses! Demonstrations and sales from fiber animal producers, spinners, weavers, felters, rug makers, etc. Raffles, Jill Pot (a spinner’s choice of best fleece judged contest), and more. Family friendly event!

Rigid Heddle Interest Group

Description: New and experienced rigid heddle weavers are invited to join. Bring your looms to work on during the meeting. We share different techniques we are working on. Newer weavers will be able to ask questions and get help if they need it. Please feel free to bring a lunch.

Meeting Time: 12 to 3 p.m. every 4th Tuesday of the month (allows time for lunch and loom set up)

Meeting Location: The Depot” 805 NE Wiest Way, Bend, OR with a few exceptions (see below). There is a possibility the meeting location could change so request to be added to the Rigid Heddle Interest Group emails for such notifications.

Fiber Arts Saturday

An informal gathering of COSWG and Central Oregon Fiber Art Association fiber artists held on the 1st Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to noon. Bring your fiber art project to work on (knitting, weaving, spinning, crochet, needle felt, etc.) and enjoy a time of community and sharing.
