SUMMARY:2023 Association of Northwest Weavers’ Guilds (ANWG) Conference
DESCRIPTION:The Weaving Guilds of Oregon (WeGO) are excited to host the 2023 Association of Northwest Weavers’ Guilds (ANWG) Conference at the Riverhouse Convention Center and Hotel in Bend\, Oregon\, June 11-18\, 2023.  Several events are open to the public.  See the website at: https://anwgconference2023.com/events/ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlan now to participate in this conference in our own region.  Room reservations are now available at the three conference hotels.  Get a couple friends together and join in all the fun the week of June 12-17\, 2023. \nThere are 3\, 2\, and 1-day workshops\, and over 48 half-day seminars to pick from; including 5 virtual seminars from instructors in Scotland\, France\, Canada\, and New York.  Jane Stafford will have a 1.5 hour presentation on the Ethiopian weavers of Sabahar.  She will also be hosting a meet-up of all the Jane Stafford School of Weaving students virtually\, Saturday\, June 17\, 2:30-4 PM. \nThere will be a big marketplace vendor hall with lots of wonderful fiber-related items for sale; 2 receptions\, a banquet\, fashion show\, and keynote speaker.  Don’t miss out on this fabulous opportunity right here in Central Oregon. \nSign up for the conference blog to get the latest information first:  https://anwgconference2023.com/blog/
