Central Oregon Spinners study group meets once a month to explore the many facets of spinning wonderful yarn from the many incredible fibers available to spinners. Explorations include learning about our heritage breeds, dyeing fiber, processing techniques and incorporating spun yarn into knits, woven fabric and felted creations.
2022 Spinning Study Focus: Exploring Other Fibers (Bast – hemp, flax, cotton; silk), in addition to the ongoing exploration of Heritage Fiber Breeds.
